A long walk

We decided to explore the west side of Norman Island today. It ended up being about a 5 mile hike. It also ended up being really hot.

Poor Reece decided that he had enough, so I carried him for a while. He tolerated it quite well.

We tried to put him in my backpack, but he wouldn't quite fit. The fireman rescue carry method worked well enough!

It's a beautiful hike with some amazing views, well worth doing. Just make sure you are prepared for intense sun and bring plenty of water!
