A Royal Feast in Carriacou

A Royal Feast in Carriacou
Now THAT'S a lobstah!

Paradise Beach Club.

Everyone raves about it. We had just finished dropping anchor Sunday when a boat showed up, painted with their logo, asking if we had plans for dinner. We were a bit tired from the passage, so we made reservations for Monday night. They said "good choice, BBQ smoked lobster on Monday."

Good choice indeed! So much food, but so very good!

They pick you up at your boat, take you to the restaurant, and then back to your boat.

The service was amazing. This is a 5 star restaurant on the beach. Shoes optional. Beach bum casual attire mandatory. We had an amazing view of the sunset. The music was a relaxing mix of Caribbean/Reggae, not too loud.

Our meal wasn't cheap, but given the quality and quantity of food, the outstanding service, and the free taxi boat, it wasn't outrageous. It was a wonderful treat, and a great way to welcome us to Carriacou.

My only regret is that they wouldn't tell us what they used as spices for the lobster.

If you are in the area, you owe it to yourself to have a meal there.
