Are we there yet?
We are as far east as we have ever been in our boat. This is something that we will be repeating daily for a while.
The crew are doing great! I've never felt so rested on a passage. The seas have been a bit rough, and the winds aren't cooperating. In spite of this, we had the energy to learn how to make soft shackles with dyneema.
And there has been cooking. Nothing too fancy, but tasty!
We aren't quite half way there yet. Weather is building off the north coast of the Dominican Republic, so we are going further north in order to stay clear of it. This will likely add a day to the passage. But that's ok.
We have a weather routing service looking after us and making sure we don't get caught out in anything bad. They are providing updated route guidance as we go.
Hopefully later tonight the winds will shift and we can turn off at least one of the engines.
