Benures Bay, Norman Island, BVIs
We've gotten around a bit today. We started at Great Harbour on the north side of Peter's Island and moved around to Whelk Bay on the south side. It was gorgeous there, shallow sand and very very clear water.
It reminded me of the Bahamas, but with more rocks.
We had a great lunch and let the pups both swim and chase the frisbee (Moss has let me out of time out for this good behavior).
But...there was a strange combination of swell and surge (causing the boat to move up/down and forward/backward), and it was from an unexpected direction, so we decided to move again.
Now we are 30 minutes further south at Norman Island. The landscape and water are very different, but still very beautiful.
In the second picture, you should be able to see Jupiter above the sliver moon when you zoom in.
There is an amazing system of hiking trails here, so we will go explore a bit with the pups tomorrow.
