We are here

We have arrived! It's not where we intended to be, but it seems like it is where we were destined to be.

As we were arriving at Puerto Plata, we had a look at the weather in the Mona Passage. Very rough seas and strong winds from the wrong direction. It would have been a hard no-go if we had gotten that far.

So far, everyone we have met has been wonderful. The check-in process was the easiest we have ever encountered. Prices of things are quite reasonable. And the views are beautiful.

We are looking forward to exploring more in the coming week or so. But for now, we sleep.
